The East Granby Fire Department is always in search of motivated individuals to assist us in our goal of providing professional emergency services to the Town of East Granby. Aside of our requirements, membership in the East Granby Fire Department is open to all qualified persons residing within the boundaries of East Granby, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race, color, national origin or religious beliefs.
Members are required to attend a certain percentage of drills and incidents each year to maintain good standing in the Department. The East Granby Fire Department holds in-house training drills and meetings on every Monday night. In addition, members of the Department are highly encouraged to attend training classes and seminars outside of the Department, all of which are paid for by the East Granby Fire Department. The Department also holds several fund-raising functions throughout the year, which are only as successful as our membership participation allows them to be.
