Engine 2 is 1996 KME Renegade Custom Pumper. Engine 2 has a crew cab that can hold up to 6 fire fighters. It also has a 1500 gallons-per-minute Hale single stage pump, with a 1000-gallon water tank and a 60-gallon foam tank. Engine 2 is powered by a 400 horsepower Cummins diesel engine with an Allison automatic transmission.

Equipment carried on Engine 2 includes:

  • 1500’ of 4” large diameter hose supply line
  • 2 – 2½” Pre-connected hose lines
  • 2 – 1¾” Pre-connected hose lines
  • Pre-piped deck gun that can flow up to 1000 gallons per minute
  • 7.5 kW Onan Generator
  • 2 – 1000W Telescoping Lights
  • 2 – 500W Telescoping Lights
  • 2 – 200’ Cord reels single
  • Talisman K-90, Thermal Imaging Camera
  • Scott Scout 4-Gas Meter
  • 35’ Extension Ladder, 14’ Roof Ladder, 10’ Closet Ladder
  • 20” Exhaust fan
  • 5 – Scott 4.5 Air Packs with 5 Spare Bottles

This Hahn pumper was in service from December of 1972 until September of 1996. It had a 5 man cab and carried 1000 gallons of water. It was also equipped with a 1000 gallons-per-minute pump, 2 1-3/4 crosslays, and 5 Scott 2.2 Air Packs with spare bottles.Â
