Engine 3 is a 2005 KME Renegade Custom Pumper, which the EGFD took delivery of on April 9, 2005. Engine 3 has a crew cab that can hold up to 6 fire fighters. It also has a 1500 gallons-per-minute Hale single stage pump, with a 1000-gallon water tank and a 60-gallon foam tank. Engine 3 is powered by a 400 horsepower Cummins diesel engine with an Allison automatic transmission.

Equipment carried on Engine 3 includes:

  • 1500' of 4" large diameter hose supply line
  • 2 – 2½" Pre-connected hose lines
  • 2 – 1¾" Pre-connected hose lines
  • Pre-piped deck gun that can flow up to 1000 gallons per minute
  • 8 kW Onan Generator
  • 4 – 1000W Telescoping lights
  • 2 – 200' electric cord reels
  • Talisman K-90, Thermal Imaging Camera
  • Scott Scout 4-Gas Meter
  • 28' Extension ladder, 14' roof ladder, 10' closet ladder
  • 20" Exhaust Fan
  • Complete Holmatro Hydraulic Rescue Tool Set
  • 5 – Scott 4.5 Air Packs with 5 Spare Bottles

This Hahn pumper was in service from May of 1979 until 2005. It had a 5 man cab and carried 1000 gallons of water. It was also equipped with a 1000 gallons-per-minute pump and 5 Scott 2.2 Air Packs with spare bottles.
